Roxette was awared the "Royal Medal with Blue Ribbon" by the king of Sweden, Carl Gustaf XIV.

Also, she recovered from her illness, and was able to sing the backing vocals on one of the songs from Per Gessle's solo album, Mazarin. The song was called: "Pa promenad genom stan".
